Although I’ve been traveling for many years, the serious trips started in 2010 when I discovered the irresistible charm of solo traveling. Seeking freedom and independence I forced myself into discomfort situations on purpose, so I can build confidence. Confidence that I can travel in any conditions given, slowly exploring countries further and further from Poland, my homeland.
In 2013 I moved to live and work in Bulgaria, a country that puts together magical landscapes, great food, and friendly people.
Hope you’ll enjoy my texts and pictures, and if you want to contact me you can do so on k.filipiuk[at]gmail.com. I will be happy to hear from fellow travelers and to help.

My name is Joe Pinzone and I’m casting an international travel show about expats moving abroad. We’d love to film in Bulgaria and wanted to know if you could help us find expats who have moved there within the last 15 months or have been there for 3-4 years, but recently moved into a new home. The show documents their move to a new country and will place the country in fabulous light. The contributors on the show would also receive monetary compensation if they are filmed. If you’d like more information, please give me a call at 212-231-7716 or skype me at joefromnyc. You can also email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Looking forward to hearing from you.
